Sherwin Williams Cup

The Sherwin Williams Paint Company was a supporter of Robin Hood Archery for many years.  Their company representative was Mr. Les Sutton, who, in 1968, started attending the Club’s annual banquet to present this trophy to its winners. Mr. Sutton was an avid supported of the club and Pole Archery in Winnipeg until his passing.

The Sherwin Williams Cup was awarded to the member who had the most points after four hours of competition.  It was retired at the end of the 1982 season and replaced with the Les Sutton Trophy in 1983, above.

Donated in 1939 by the Sherwin Williams Paint Company, the Sherwin Williams Cup was retired in 1982 after 44 years of competition.
